St. Maarten Montessori School
Sint Maarten Montessori is fortunate to have an active and productive Parent Teacher Association.
The PTA provides opportunities for additional Parent/Teacher and Parent/Parent information exchange, discussion and action on issues affecting the students at Montessori School.

At the same time the PTA exists to promote activities to raise funds and encourage volunteers for the immediate improvement of the school and community and to provide educational and friend-making programs for the families at the School.

The Parent Teacher Association is comprised of a group of dedicated parents (along with long term dedicated Montessori teachers) who volunteer their time throughout the school year and who want to do all they can to make our Montessori children and teachers the best they can be. The PTA has a place for parents who want to be involved coordinating events and activities either in the school or from home.

Periodic PTA meetings are scheduled and announced throughout the year. The meetings are open to all parents.

The PTA funds its activities with donations from the parents and with admission fees for selected events.
The Parent Teacher Association accomplishes these goals through social events, fundraisers, educational presentations and volunteer participation at the school.

The PTA members organize and supervise the school fund raising events such as the Halloween Party, Book sale, Bake sale, Family Fun Day, Christmas Donations and supports all school events such as Swimming and Soccer Competitions.

This is all made possible with the participation of many parents at the school. Some of our parents are able to commit substantial time, while others volunteer for particular events or classroom activities, and others offer goods and services or support our efforts by purchasing tickets and attending the various events. We are indebted to them for all their continuing support and involvement.
