Activities for 2008 - 2009

Dear Parents,

Below, please find our After School Activity Program for the 2008 – 2009 school year. We are happy to offer our students a chance to participate in organized sports and teams with qualified coaches. There will be swimming classes for three levels of swimmers from beginners (ages 3 and up) to advanced. Girls and boys in the Primary, Lower and Upper Elementary are invited to sign up for our soccer teams. We are also offering Computer, Dance, Hand Drumming, Jewelry Making, Dutch, French, Running Club, Soccer and Tae Kwon Do. Please dress your child in the appropriate clothing for their activity (e.g. running club – t-shirt, shorts, socks and sneakers). It is advisable to provide your child with a bottle of water to take with them during their activity.

Study Hall will be available only to the Lower and Upper Elementary students who teachers believe are in need of homework assistance from 2:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., Monday through Thursday. Please see the office for more information. Study Hall begins on Monday, September 1, 2008.

Attached, please find application and detail of our after school activities; mark your child’s choice of activities and return the form to the school office by Wednesday, August 27, 2008 as spaces are limited. After School Activity fees must be paid by the 3rd of each month starting in September.

Any children remaining on school premises after 3:00 p.m. will go to the Extended Care Program for which parents will be billed for this service. Children are not allowed to wait on the playground without supervision.

All activities will begin the week of Monday, September 1, 2008.

Sincerely,

Shelly Jack
